Bio
Ketai Qiu is a PhD student in Informatics supervised by Prof. Mauro Pezzè and Dr. Luca Di Grazia at Università della Svizzera italiana (USI) in Switzerland since September 1, 2023. His research focuses on AI4SE, Software Quality and Testing. His research is funded by Swiss National Science Foundation project A-Test Autonomic Software Testing.
Before joining the STAR group, Ketai graduated with a Master of Science (summa cum laude) in Software and Data Engineering from USI in June 2023, defending his thesis titled Experimental Evaluation of Failure Predictors for Industrial-Scale Applications under the supervision of Prof. Mauro Pezzè and Dr. Rahim Heydarov. In summer 2022, Ketai conducted a research internship on Experimental Evaluation of Failure Predictors for Containerized Cloud Applications supported by a grant from the Faculty of Informatics, USI.
Ketai received his B.Eng. with honours in Network Engineering from Nanjing Agricultural University in China, where he completed a thesis on Design and Implementation of a Mobile Application Called Mistake Recorder under the supervision of Prof. Zhonghong Xie in June 2021. He is proud to have graduated from Suzhou Industrial Park Xinghai Experimental Middle School in July 2017.
